I am certain this will need a lot more editing with the brightness when it comes to print, but kinda like it. It fits in with the style of my other work :)
The collage was something I did a while a go and as we have to scan in 10 flat images, I thought it would make for a good one, as I believe it does!
Don't seem to have got much else done this weekend, other than working on the stuff I need to submit to Westminster, Leeds Art and Manchester Uni in less than 2 weeks.
My problem is, when I have so many things to do, I cannot focus on one at a time/can't work out which is the one I need to be focussing on at once, and when it turns out I can't get the one on the top of my to do list done, I have a bit of a melt down.
I suppose it's my own fault for rushing through a 2 year course in 1 year! My tutor thinks I'm doing well, and I have done an awful lot. But when you're trying to do 7 assignments, apply for uni, respond to all the things Universities want me to do and work out just what the hell is good enough for your portfolio, it just get's a bit hectic. And I guess I've never put so much pressure on myself to get so much done.
It's my 22nd birthday tomorrow, and in all honesty I've never been less bothered. I have so much work to do, it's the last thing on my mind. I got 2 texts yesterday off my friends with sneak-peek photos of what they've bought me for my birthday which was lovely. Joe's thrown out all the stops and says he's buying me 3 presents, in his words, 'one just to be nice, one for your birthday and one cause it's Valentines day and I love you'. :) My other friend Joe is coming to visit from Lincoln the next weekend, which I am looking forward to, (and the holidays!) and he's bought me a surprise present which I'm dying to see, I know it's something off http://eclecticeccentricity.bigcartel.com/ so I know I'll love it. Planning on partying at the weekend and most of my besties will be gracing me with their presence :) And my friend Tom has bought me a pocket watch necklace from Camden Market in London to add to my vast collection of clocks. I won't see him 'til April, but when he visits, it will be for a whole Month and I can't wait! Also got an early present off my Mum, a shiny new camera :) Kodak EasyShare M550. She's quite a little beauty, and I've been snapping away all week! :) And my Dad's bought me a VOGUE subscription, and some Juicy Couture perfume which I'm pretty smitten about :)
Anyway, must go shower and get ready, going to go visit my Grandad later. And then back to my ferocious amount of work! Laters!
